ITINERARY

Day 1 - Aberdeen

After a team photo at the start line, we will start the epic NE250 journey. The route, a circular trail which was launched in 2017 starts in Aberdeen. We will be travelling north and follow the coast and heads towards Peterhead. We will be taking our time, enjoying the fresh sea air and passing through picturesque fishing villages.

Elevation: 1,850ft

Day 2 - The Coast

After a good rest and a full breakfast we’ll continue with our journey, Still kissing the coast, we’ll view stunning stretches of sandy beaches before turning inland and start to see what Scotland really has to offer.

Elevation: 4,2000ft

Day 3 - The Hills

Time to warm up the legs! The climbs are gradual so don’t let the elevation throw you off your mission. The team will be here to support you and we will have plenty of well deserved rest stops.

The region is packed full of castles and old country estates to help keep you motivated. We’ll be well inside the Cairngorms National Park, full of mountains, forest paths, rivers, lochs; packed with many beauty hotspots for you to take your photo snaps.

Day 4 - Aberdeen

A relaxing day to the finish line, time to celebrate off the bike with friends and family. North East 250 completed!

CHARITIES WE ARE SUPPORTING

This year we will be fundraising for the following charities. Each cyclist will be required to raise a minimum of £500 with a recommended target of £1,000. Cyclists will create fundraising pages directly with each charity.
