Helping My Community

Helping My Community

We are excited to reveal our new campaign ‘Helping My Community’ launching in April 2017, a UK focused campaign to tackle social issues in our community and help make a difference.

Previously, our efforts have been focused on helping those in need at an international level, but this year, we’ve decided to do something different. We’re taking it back to where it all begins; our local communities!

Teams of volunteers across the UK will be working to identify causes in their own community that they feel passionate about, followed by a 6 month campaign of lots of hard work to raise much needed funds and awareness. Using our experience of organising some of the best events in the UK, we’ll be hosting a range of fun-filled activities for you to get involved in and help us to help others.

Tariq Razzaq, CEO and founder of MCE UK said “Over the last two years, we have raised a phenomenal amount of awareness and money for international causes as well as raising the bar on events and bringing communities together throughout the country. Our goal is to unite communities and we have decided to focus our efforts this year on helping people in the UK. There are many social issues which demand our attention and ‘Helping My Community’ is the first step in making our communities a better place for all. I am would like to invite people from across the UK and from all backgrounds to be part of this campaign and help make a difference to those who need it the most.”

Why get involved?

The aim of ‘Helping My Community’ is to benefit people from all sects of society, and unite communities in doing so. With teams set up across the UK, including Birmingham, Bolton, Bradford, London, Manchester, Rochdale and Slough (with more to be confirmed), there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved and make a massive change to someone’s life.

If you feel strongly about a local initiative that needs our help or you want to give something back to your community, we’d love to hear from you. Alternatively, get in touch if you’re directly involved with a local cause or a not-for-profit organisation and would like to work alongside us for this campaign. No cause is too big or too small!
